Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) is a private engineering institute established in 2001, approved by AICTE and affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, under college code 132 (GNIOT official site). Your degree is therefore an AKTU degree, and the seat comes through AKTU's centralised counselling. The campus sits at Plot No. 7, Knowledge Park II, Greater Noida, within walking distance of the Knowledge Park II metro station — a real advantage if family visits or internship commutes from Noida and Delhi matter to you.

The institute states on its own site that it is NAAC A+ accredited in the first cycle; if the grade matters to your decision, ask to see the certificate during a campus visit.
